Quality workshops? Of course, but the Writers Institute is so much more:

Manuscript Consultations – Get feedback on your manuscript in one-on-one sessions with Andy Kifer. Space is limited.
Lunchtime Reads – Each day, gather for lunch and hear Writers Institute faculty read from their work.
First Draft: A Literary Social – On Thursday, May 7 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. join us for drinks and a writing prompt with a twist at The Democratic Republic of Beer/180 Bistro, 501 N.E. 1st Ave., Downtown Miami. This is how it goes: participants are led in a short, themed writing prompt, then everyone gets some time to write their stories. Those who want to can read their work aloud. We'll take a break to drink and socialize (your first drink is on the house!), then we start the whole process over again. Theme: Changes / Instructor: Anjanette Delgado

Happy Hour – Just because the writing stops, doesn't mean the fun has to. Join us on Friday, May 8 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Books & Books' bookstore and café at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.

*The Writers Institute Refund Policy

Please note that because enrollment in most workshops is limited to 15 students, we must have ample time to seek and register a replacement should you be forced to cancel your attendance to the Writers Institute. For that reason, the deadline to cancel your registration for any workshop or lecture and receive a full refund is Wednesday, April 1, 2015. After that date, we will not be able to offer any refunds.
