Fascinated by plot, character and conflict? Introduction to Fiction Writing is an entry-level class suitable for novice writers. Topics will cover common writing mistakes, the secrets of compelling storytelling, and how to develop great ideas for your stories. Students will be expected to compose character sketches, scenes and a completed story by the end of the course.

 

George Tucker has been writing for more than 20 years. He has won several national short-story prizes and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. His stories have appeared in the books Miami Noir and Coming Of Age In The 21st Century along with many other publications. He received his MFA in fiction writing from Florida International University.
