The Center's newest literacy initiative, First Readers, will introduce first graders to a little boy who loves the biscuits his grandma makes, but loves his grandma even more. Grandma's Biscuits by Robert Little, like Little Cliff and the Porch People, illustrates the importance of extended families. Books will be distributed to students at selected schools throughout Miami-Dade County.
