During this intensive workshop divided into writing and discussion sessions, teens will learn how to structure and organize the creative process and be given the valuable tools to turn raw material — personal journals, blogs, or photos — into well-crafted short stories and/or poetry. Limited to 15 students.

Crissa Jean Chappell’s reviews, short stories, and poems have appeared in many magazines and newspapers including the Miami Sun Post, for which she wrote a weekly film column for eight years. Her debut novel, Total Constant Order is the story of a young teen's experience with obsessive compulsive disorder.
