This workshop, intended for writers who have taken at least one basic creative writing class and who want to concentrate on beginning or continuing a memoir or a series of personal essays, will focus on workshop-format critique and discussing excerpts from the work of world class memoirists.

Norma Watkins, winner of a Florida Individual Artist Fellowship, has a doctorate in English literature. Her work has appeared in the Miami Herald and the St. Petersburg Times. Her poetry and short stories are included in national anthologies.
