Manuscript Guidelines:
Manuscripts submitted to the Writers Institute must follow standard manuscript preparation guidelines. Click here to view these guidelines.

Deadlines:

March 1:
• Last day to register and submit writing to be workshopped.
Please refer to workshop descriptions for information on which require a manuscript, and for which a manuscript is optional.

• Last day to register and submit a manuscript for agent
consultation.

March 23:
• Last day to register for workshops if you are not submitting a manuscript.

Please keep in mind that many workshops are limited to 15 students, and that appointments for agent manuscript consultations go fast. Early registration is strongly encouraged.

Fees:
Our flexible packages make it possible for you to attend just one class or workshop if your time is limited, or, immerse yourself in creative writing at a deep discount! Current Miami Dade College employees and credit students receive discounts - see below.

• One Three-day workshop: $175

• One Four-day workshop: $200

• Two workshops (you can combine any two): $350

• Daily Briefing Lectures (5:30-8:30 p.m.): $35 each

• Both Daily Breifing Lectures: $50

• Agent manuscript consultation: $75

• Agent manuscript consultation and one Daily Briefing Lecture: $100

• The Whole Enchilada: Two workshops (you can combine any two), both Daily Briefing Lectures and an agent manuscript consultation: $450!

• Teens: Write On! Includes both workshops and lunch on both days: $150 (Children of current MDC faculty, staff and credit students $100)

Lunch will be provided for Writers Institute participants who register for at least one workshop.

Pitch-o-rama 2007! Participation is open to all registrants, including those who are coming for manuscript consultations only.
