This workshop steps writers through a multi-stage revision process. We’ll talk about how to hear criticism and translate comments into changes, then work from large issues (restructuring story arcs, deepening characters, sharpening dialogue and narrative voice, varying pace) to small (polishing scenes, sentences and words). Limited to 15 participants. Must submit 15 pages for critique by March 1.
Facilitator
Hallie Ephron is a widely published short story, essay and magazine feature writer and the author of Writing and Selling Your Mystery Novel: How to Knock ‘Em Dead with Style. She is co-author of five Dr. Peter Zak mystery/medical thrillers by G.H. Ephron, and is the crime fiction book reviewer for the Boston Globe.
