Want to get together with other writers to discuss works-in-progress and the writing life? For the first time, the Center will offer writers a place to meet outside of the formal workshop environment. Share your work -- including novel chapters, memoirs, poems, essays, or song lyrics -- with peers, and learn and apply the rules of constructive criticism. Please note that this Center offering is not a traditional workshop, the facilitator of this critique group is not an instructor, but a member of the group. Writers should not expect to be taught skills to improve their writing; the intention is for peers to give each other feedback that could possibly lead to improvement.

Limited to 15 participants.

Claudia Forestieri is a Miami-based producer, writer and freelance journalist. She’s the author of The Gordita Chronicles, a novel about a less-than-perfect woman trying to penetrate the fickle TV news market.
